Where we started

The vision of Lattice was created by its founder and managing director, Neil McCutcheon. In the context of increasing globalisation and economic migration, he was struck by how difficult it is for many organisations to communicate with customers whose first language differs from the prevailing language of the organisation itself.

Following discussions with early customers, such as the Police service in the UK, Neil found that it would be possible to design a solution that enabled this increasingly important challenge to be addressed in a valuable and pragmatic way.

As managing director, Neil is responsible for all the company’s operations. He is assisted in this array of tasks by his two cofounders, Brian Stafford and Bob Carnell, responsible for product development and business development respectively. The company is also supported by David Livesley of Yorkshire Fund Managers, who also saw the gap in this global market, and who have taken an equity stake in this exciting venture.
